Opening never extends a date: if the packet date comes sooner, go by that. Estimates for quality, not a safety ruling. What the dates mean

Strawberries keep for 4 days in the fridge, counted from when you buy them. That's SnapLarder's estimate for strawberries in general. If the packet has a date, go by the packet: it's specific to that product.

How long do strawberries last once cut?

3 days.

Can you freeze strawberries?

Yes. Strawberries keep for about 8 months in the freezer. Freeze them before the date on the packet, defrost them in the fridge, and use them within 2 days of thawing.
