Opening never extends a date: if the packet date comes sooner, go by that. Estimates for quality, not a safety ruling. What the dates mean

Rocket keeps for 5 days in the fridge, counted from when you buy it. That's SnapLarder's estimate for rocket (arugula) in general. If the packet has a date, go by the packet: it's specific to that product.

How long does rocket last once opened?

3 days. Opening never extends a date: if the date on the packet comes sooner, go by that.

Can you eat rocket after the use-by date?

No. A use-by date is about safety: don’t eat it after it, even if it looks and smells fine. If the packet says best before instead, that’s about quality: check it, and it’s often fine for a while after. Use by vs best before

Can you freeze rocket?

Not really. Rocket doesn't freeze well: the texture changes when it thaws.
