Support

SnapLarder is made by one person. I read everything that comes in, and I usually reply within a week.

Reporting something that went wrong? Three things let me fix it without a back-and-forth: what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and the product name if a scan was involved.

A barcode wasn't recognised

SnapLarder looks products up in Open Food Facts, a free public database. It's good but not complete, and own-brand lines are often missing. You can photograph the label instead, or type the item in.

If you'd like a product added, anyone can add it at openfoodfacts.org — it then works for everyone.

Something landed in the wrong place

Tap the item and change the fridge, freezer or cupboard. If a product is consistently wrong, send me its name and barcode and I'll correct it for everyone in the next update.

My reminders aren't arriving

Check Settings inside SnapLarder first — reminders can be switched off there, and it warns you if iPhone notifications are off. If both look right, check Settings → Notifications → SnapLarder on the phone itself.

I paid but there's still a limit

Settings → Purchase → Restore purchase. It re-checks with Apple using the Apple ID that bought it. If that doesn't work, email me.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by me. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that made the purchase. It's usually quicker than waiting for a reply from me.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything SnapLarder knows is on your phone and goes with it. There's no account and no copy anywhere else.
