Opening never extends a date: if the packet date comes sooner, go by that. Estimates for quality, not a safety ruling. What the dates mean

Courgettes keep for 6 days in the fridge, counted from when you buy them. That's SnapLarder's estimate for courgettes (zucchini) in general. If the packet has a date, go by the packet: it's specific to that product.

How long do courgettes last once cut?

3 days.

Can you freeze courgettes?

Yes. Courgettes keep for about 8 months in the freezer. Freeze them before the date on the packet, defrost them in the fridge, and use them within 2 days of thawing.
